Applications: widely used in the industry of plastic plasticizer, paint, dope, medicament, resin. It is a primary material to produce plasticizer, polyester resin. alkyd and mainly used to produce dioctyl phthalate (DOP).
Characteristics:White crystal or squama. Sublimating sensitive; dissolved in cold water slightly: dissolved in hot water and hydrolyze to be phthalic acid, dissolved in ethyl alcohol,benzene and pyridine; dissolved in aether. Boiling point: 295℃.Melting point 131.11℃. Relative density: 1.527 (4℃).
